Congratulations to our Year 9 HaSS Academic Extension student James Wright. James competed in the National Geography Competition and was placed EQUAL FIRST in Australia, an outstanding achievement!!
The Australian Geography Competition is a contest for Australian secondary school students, assessing their geographical knowledge and skills. The Competition aims to encourage student interest in geography and to reward student excellence. Students are required to answer a range of multiple-choice questions, including graph, map and data interpretation. Students participated in the competition as part of Applecross Senior High School’s HaSS Academic Extension program.
