Rapid Antigen Test (RAT) kits have arrived at Applecross and throughout the week students will receive one box of 20 RAT tests to take home.
Any absent student at the time of distribution will be able to pick up their pack of RATs from Reception after school on the day of their return.
Distribution will start today as below:
Tuesday 17th Year 11 and 12Wednesday 18th Years 9 and 10Thursday 19th Years 7 and 8
Most RAT kits have a QR code that links to a video that shows how to take the test – whether it is a saliva test or a nasal swab. Kits also include guidance on their recommended use.

If your child becomes symptomatic, they should stay home and be tested for COVID-19. You should notify the school if your child tests positive for COVID-19. Refer to healthywa.wa.gov.au for information on close contact definition, testing and isolation requirements.
