Applecross SHS held its House Swimming Carnival on Wednesday 24th February on what was a beautiful day. The participation level was outstanding, and there were some keenly contested races with exciting finishes and great individual and team efforts. Students had an exciting noodle race at recess which generated great excitement amongst houses. The teachers felt brave enough to set up a relay race against the upper school students. Unfortunately, they just missed out on a podium finish (7th).Well done to every competitor for their awesome efforts in representing their House with pride and also to the student officials for their fine assistance throughout.
Congratulations to Investigator who was the victorious House on the day. The overall results were as follows:
1st place: Investigator – 1142 points
2nd place: Amity – 853 points
